Chicago crime: Man found shot on Far South Side

CHICAGO - A man was found shot on Chicago's Far South Side early Sunday.

Police say a 31-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to the groin around 1:11 a.m. in the 11900 block of South Loomis Street.

The victim was transported to Christ Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.

He was unable to provide details about the incident. No one is in custody.

Area Two Detectives are investigating.
