First responders honored at mass in Cicero

CICERO, Ill. - First responders were honored Thursday with a mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa and Charity Parish in Cicero.

The mass included a blessing for all police officers, firefighters and emergency medical personnel.

Bishop Kevin Birmingham presided as the main celebrant of the mass.

First responders from county, state and federal agencies were in attendance.
