EVANSTON, Illinois (Fox 32 News) - Four people inside a Dunkin Donuts in a Chicago suburb were injured Sunday morning when a car crashed through the glass.
Evanston police said the driver, a 56-year-old man, thought he was in reverse but was actually in drive. He drove right through the front door of the Dunkin Donuts and ended up parked against the counter.
Three people suffered minor injuries from broken glass. A fourth person had an ankle injury and was taken to the hospital.
The man was not cited because the crash happened on private property, police said.
