CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Normal service is resuming on the CTA Blue Line after a minor derailment suspended service Monday morning on the Near West Side.
The derailment was reported near the Illinois Medical District station at 430 S. Damen Ave. at 11:45 a.m., according to the CTA. No injuries were reported.
Service was suspended between UIC-Halsted and Pulaski for about three hours after the derailment, according to the CTA.
As of 2:37 p.m., normal service was resuming with residual delays, according to the transit agency.
