Woman shot in the chest in Back of the Yards: police

CHICAGO - An 18-year-old woman was shot in the chest in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood Saturday night. 

Police say the victim was inside a vehicle in the 4500 block of South Wood Street just before midnight when shots were fired in the area, 

She suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. 

No arrests were reported. Area detectives are investigating.
