Candidates face off in Chicago Mayoral Forum
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The Chicago Mayoral Election is now just over a month away, and the candidates to replace Mayor Rahm Emanuel are making the final push for every vote.
FOX 32 is at the center of it all, and will broadcast the Chicago Mayoral Forum live at 6 p.m. from the Union League Club on February 7.
The top 5 candidates from a Lincoln Forum poll will take part in the event, which will be moderated by Fox 32 Political Editor Mike Flannery.
Those candidates are Toni Preckwinkle, Paul Vallas, Gery Chico, Willie Wilson, and Susana Mendoza. Bill Daley dropped out to attend a Chicago Plumbers Local 130 event and was replaced by Vallas for the forum.
Two-hundred audience members will be on hand to watch the forum, and will be able to submit questions to the candidates.
The forum will air live at 6 p.m. on FOX 32, FOX32Chicago.com, and the FOX 32 Facebook page.
