Man in critical condition after being shot in chest in Chicago alley

CHICAGO - A man was critically wounded after being shot in Gresham Monday evening. 

At about 5:48 p.m., an 18-year-old man was in an alley in the 7700 block of South Honore when he was shot in the chest, police said.

He was transported to Christ Hospital in critical condition.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
