Delta passenger claims child kicked her repeatedly, and attendants would not let her change seats
MINNEAPOLIS (Fox 32 News) - A Delta Airlines passenger says she was left with bruises all over one side of her body after another passenger's child kicked her repeatedly -- and the crew refused to let her change seats.
Sally Canario traveled from Los Angeles to Minneapolis on April 2, Fox News reports. She was in the window seat. Next to her were a mother and little girl, and she said the child laid her head in her mother's lap and put her feet next to Canario.
“I flagged down a flight attendant to file an injury report,” Canario said. “His response was, ‘I am not a babysitter, you two parties need to work things out. This is a full flight. I do not take injury reports... you aren’t injured.”
Incredibly, the mother told Canario at the end of the flight that the girl's daughter was seated elsewhere. Canario said she would have happily traded seats with him if she knew.
“We regret to learn of the experience and discomfort described by this customer on a recent flight. We are in direct contact with this customer while we gather more information about the situation,” Delta said in a statement to Fox News.
