CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're featuring an adoptable cat named Scalia!
Scalia is a beautiful longhaired one-year-old kitty who can be shy and finds all the commotion of the Adoption Center a bit overwhelming. But as conservative as Scalia may appear, once she feels comfortable she won’t hesitate to cross party lines and will liberally seek out attention and petting from her human companions!
Scalia’s foster mom tells us that she became an outgoing, friendly and lovable cat almost immediately after she settled into her foster home. Although she is not very fond of being held, Scalia enjoyed interacting with guests to her foster home, and also took to sprinting “victory laps” around the apartment when her mom got home from work each day.
Although she is great with people, Scalia would probably prefer to be an only kitty and would do best in a quiet, adults-only home so that she can have the ideal environment to bring her out of her shell.
You can meet Scalia, and the other animals in need of forever homes at the PAWS Chicago Adoption & Humane Center in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
