'Toast to Charlie Trotter' event celebrates culinary legend

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - He was a mentor and trailblazer who put Chicago on the culinary map of the world. Charlie Trotter opened his signature restaurant in 1987. It quickly became destination dining for food-lovers and celebrities alike. The restaurant closed in 2012, and about a year later trotter died of a stroke.

Rochelle Trotter, Charlie's wife, joined Good Day to talk about a special luncheon that's a 'Toast to Charlie Trotter.’

Chef Emeril Lagasse will host the luncheon.
