CHICAGO - A 17-year-old boy was arrested this week in connection with robberies and carjackings that occurred in September.
The juvenile faces four felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm and two felony counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.
The charges stem from incidents that occurred on Sept. 15.
The teen allegedly participated in armed robberies and aggravated vehicular hijackings at the following locations and times:
- 4 a.m. in the 200 block of W. 70th St., involving two men, ages 32 and 35
- 4:45 a.m. in the 7100 block of S. Vincennes, involving two women, ages 21 and 23
The teen was arrested by the Chicago Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force on Thursday in the 1100 block of South Hamilton.
He was placed in custody and charged accordingly.
