19-year-old wounded in shooting in Humboldt Park

A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

The 19-year-old was on the street about 6:30 p.m. in the 900 block of North Harding Avenue when a vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.

The man was struck in the ankle and taken to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.

$8K reward offered in murder of retired firefighter in Far South Side carjacking
