CHICAGO - Two people found dead inside a South Loop residence Monday have been identified.
Leticia Zaragoza, 45, and Joseph P. Fry, 36, were discovered in their home in the 2000 block of South Indiana Avenue around 3 p.m. Monday, according to police.
According to police, both victims suffered gunshot wounds to the head, police said. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting occurred sometime between Sunday at 2 p.m. and Monday at 3 p.m., according to police.
"A domestic incident. Murder/Suicide. Tragic. You never know what is happening behind closed doors," Alderman Pat Dowell tweeted about the incident Monday night.
Zaragoza’s brother, Tony Garcia, told reporters he went to the apartment after getting a call from their father that she had been killed.
"She never bothered anybody," Garcia told reporters outside the apartment building. "She was loved by everybody. She was a beautiful person."
