2-month-old boy's death in Ashburn ruled a homicide
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - The death of a 2-month-old boy Saturday in the Southwest Side Ashburn neighborhood has been ruled a homicide.
Officers responded to a call of an unresponsive 2-month-old boy in the 3200 block of West 83rd Place at noon, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:05 p.m.
An autopsy Sunday found that he died of multiple injuries from abuse, the medical examiner’s office said.
No one was in custody as of Sunday afternoon, police said. Area Central detectives are investigating the incident.
