2 shot in River North: fire officials

CHICAGO - Two people were shot in River North Friday night.

Chicago Fire officials confirm the shooting took place in the 400 block of North Wabash.

A 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds, fire officials said.

Chicago police did not provide any additional information.
