2 shot while driving in Grand Crossing
CHICAGO - A man and a woman were shot while driving Monday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood.
The pair was driving around 9:09 p.m. when a black Ford sedan pulled up and someone started shooting at them in the 7500 block of South South Chicago Avenue, according to police. The 36-year-old man had been shot in the left hand, and the 40-year-old woman was grazed on the head.
They drove to the 4th District police station and were both transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where they were both listed in good condition, police said.
There is no one in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
