CHICAGO - Three people were shot, one fatally Thursday afternoon in Chicago's Roseland neighborhood.
Around 2:47 p.m., police say two men and a woman were on the sidewalk outside the McDonald's at 95th Street and Lafayette Avenue when shots were fired by an unknown offender.
A 29-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to his body and was transported to Christ Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A 27-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Christ Hospital in good condition.
A 49-year-old woman was shot in the right arm and taken to the University of Chicago Hospital in serious condition, police said.
Nobody was reported in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
