4 hurt in CTA bus crash near Museum Campus

Four people were injured, one of them seriously, in a crash involving a CTA bus near the Museum Campus Thursday morning.

One person was killed, and at least three others were injured in a crash involving a CTA bus near the Museum Campus on Thursday morning.

Around 9:34 a.m., police say a Volkswagen being driven by a 34-year-old man struck the bus near Columbus Drive and Roosevelt Road.

The driver of the Volkswagen was pronounced dead, police said.

At least three people were hospitalized, including one taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt said.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information was provided.
