Veterinary Technician / Assistant
Immediate FT/PT opening for an exceptional vet tech and/or vet assistant for our growing small animal practice.
Certified Veterinary Technician/CVT or equivalent preferred, but will consider individuals with on the job experience.
Techs are expected to have excellent customer service skills, communication skills, be efficient, maintain a professional appearance, and work in a team setting.
Technical proficiency desired in, but not limited to: administering injections, blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthetic induction and monitoring, dental cleanings and radiographs, radiograph positioning, general drug knowledge, animal restraint, and general lab sample preparation.
Our hospital is well equipped with digital medical records, full in house lab, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, ultrasound, advanced surgical monitoring, TonoVet and more. We recently moved in to a new free standing building that provides a great work environment. We offer a competitive salary package depending on experience and skills. Saturday and evening hours are required.
