CHICAGO (STMW) -- A store in the Streeterville neighborhood sold a $550,000 winning lottery ticket for a Lucky Day Lotto drawing earlier this month.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, bought the Lucky Day Lotto ticket at Gateway Newstand, 303 E. Wacker Dr., and matched all five numbers – 16 – 17 – 19 – 23 – 24 – in the Aug. 17 midday drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.
Gateway Newstand will receive a $5,500 bonus, one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
