60-year-old man shot in South Shore

A man was shot Wednesday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.

The 60-year-old was standing outside around 3:40 a.m. in the 6900 block of South Paxton Avenue when he saw two people shooting, police said.

The man was struck by gunfire in the arm and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was listed in good condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
