63-year-old man dies after being struck by vehicle on South Side; no suspects in custody

CHICAGO - A man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Roseland Saturday morning. 

At about 6:11 a.m., a 63-year-old man was in the 10700 block of South Emerald Avenue when he was struck by an unknown vehicle.

The man sustained trauma to the body and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No arrests have been made.

Area detectives are investigating the crash.
