7-Eleven is giving free coffee for 711 days to people who get a tattoo
NEW YORK - Would you get inked for free coffee? 7-Eleven is offering free java to fans who get a special – and semi-permanent – tattoo in commemoration of a new collaboration the chain has with the band Green Day.
7-Eleven announced the promotion last week to celebrate two milestones: the 30th anniversary of Green Day's breakout album "Dookie" and the 60th anniversary of 7-Eleven "originating the idea of freshly brewed coffee in to-go cups."
Green Day’s coffee brand, Punk Bunny Coffee, is debuting an exclusive Anniversary Blend for the promotion at 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores nationwide.

The first 50 fans who show up beginning at 8 a.m. ET on Aug. 28 at 7-Eleven at 800 6th Ave in New York City and receive a custom 7-Eleven x Punk Bunny tattoo will get free coffee for 711 days, the company said.
Participants must be 21 and older to participate, the company added.
"The unique, semi-permanent tattoo is designed by Lady Cobra, a fellow Bay Area native and tattoo artist who will be on-site at the event inking some fans herself," 7-Eleven said in a press release.
7-Eleven, Inc., which is headquartered in Irving, Texas, has more than 13,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada that are operated, franchised, and licensed. This isn’t the first time the chain has announced unique promotions to lure in customers.
Each year, the company celebrates "7-Eleven Day" on July 11 by offering fans a free Slurpee.
They've also released a 7-Eleven collaboration with Crocs shoes, and once even gifted $7,111 to a baby born on July 11, 2019, at 7:11 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
