Body pulled from river near Goose Island identified
CHICAGO - A body was pulled from the river near Goose Island Thursday night.
At about 6:56 p.m., a male body was recovered from the river in the 1300 block of North Elston. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, the Cook County coroner identified the body as 63-year-old Norman C. Walton.
Area detectives are investigating.
