CHICAGO - An 11-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the foot in an alley on the South Side Monday night.
Chicago police say the boy was in the 6000 block of South Wabash at 7:44 p.m. when it happened.
He was transported to Comer Children's Hospital in good condition with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Area One detectives are investigating.
