CHICAGO - A 23-year-old man was shot in the face Friday night on Chicago's Southwest Side.
Around 7:30 p.m., police say the male victim was near an alley in the 4100 block of S. Archer Ave. when he was struck in the facial area by gunfire.
He was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
