'Saving Our Streets': What will it take to solve Chicago's crime crisis?

Chicago in 2021 saw the most murders it has in 25 years.

A man was grazed in the head by a bullet Friday morning while he was sleeping in his West Pullman home.

The 56-year-old was sleeping in bed around 2:20 a.m. when a bullet came through his window and grazed him on the head in the 11800 block of South Emerald Avenue, police said.

He refused to go to the hospital and was released at the scene, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
