Chicago alderwoman tests positive for COVID-19 for the first time

A Chicago alderwoman says she has tested positive for COVID-19 for the first time.

Ald. Maria Hadden posted on Facebook Tuesday saying that she will have to sit out of in-person activities all week due to the diagnosis.

She also said she would attend Wednesday's City Council meeting online.

The alderman is reminding people to wear their masks and to stay vigilant about washing their hands since rates are high again.
