13-year-old boy robbed multiple people at gunpoint on Chicago's South Side: police
CHICAGO - A 13-year-old boy was arrested this week for allegedly robbing multiple people at gunpoint on Chicago's South Side last summer.
What we know:
The teen faces five felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
The charges stem from a series of armed robberies that occurred on June 4, 2024. Police said multiple offenders were involved in these incidents.
The juvenile is accused of the following crimes:
- Armed robbery of a 47-year-old woman in the 2900 block of East 91st Street at 5:20 a.m.
- Armed robbery of a 35-year-old woman and 62-year-old man in the 2700 block of East 89th Street at 10:31 a.m.
- Armed robbery of a 32-year-old woman in the 200 block of West 87th Street at 1 p.m.
- Armed robbery of a 39-year-old man in the 100 block of West 87th Street at 1:15 p.m.
Police arrested the teen on Wednesday in the 17100 block of South Park Avenue. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
