GLENCOE, Ill. - For the first time in its 50 year history, the Chicago Botanic Garden is charging admission.
The garden is going to start charging guests anywhere from $10 to $26.
In exchange, parking rates will be reduced to $8.
The Chicago Botanic Garden says this will help with yearly costs.
It will still offer 52 free days a year for guests to visit.
