Video shows vehicle wanted in connection to shooting of Chicago mail carrier
Postal Inspectors are searching for the gunman accused of shooting a mail carrier on the Northwest Side Tuesday afternoon.
CHICAGO - A $50,000 reward is being offered after two mail carriers were robbed at gunpoint, with one being shot, Tuesday afternoon on Chicago's Northwest Side.
Around 3:30 p.m., a 52-year-old mail carrier was approached by two unknown male offenders in the 3200 block of North Kildare Ave. who attempted to take his belongings.
One of the offenders discharged a firearm, striking the victim in the leg.

Man in critical condition after being shot during attempted robbery
SkyFOX was over the scene of crime scene tape and heavy police presence in Kilbourn Park on the Northwest Side.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, and was later upgraded to stable condition.
Then, around 3:44 p.m., a second mail carrier was robbed in the 1800 block of N. Sawyer Ave.
The suspects' vehicle was a stolen white Kia sedan with Illinois license plate BF73931.

One offender was described as a Black male wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, gray pants with "Reebok" wrapped around the left pant leg, Jordan sneakers with a blue crown emblem and blue stripes, and a backwards blue cap with stickers on the cap's orange bill.
No offenders are in custody. Area Detectives are investigating.
