Chicago crime: Man shot in the chest while inside parked car on West Side

A man was critically wounded in a shooting on the West Side Monday night.

At about 7:50 p.m., a 32-year-old man was inside a parked car in the first block of North Waller when he was shot in the chest by an unknown offender, police said.

He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
