Chicago high-rise fire caused by cigarette burning on a mattress

CHICAGO - Fire investigators say careless smoking sparked a fire in a South Side high-rise Wednesday evening.

SkyFOX was over the scene at 64th and Yale.

The fire was in one unit but prompted a large emergency response.

Nobody was hurt.

The cause was a cigarette left burning on a mattress.
