Chicago police rescue person from Lake Michigan

Chicago police pulled a person out of Lake Michigan on Sunday afternoon.

The woman was rescued from Monroe Harbor around 2:30 p.m.

The person was hospitalized after the rescue.

While it is warm outside, Lake Michigan is not warm enough for swimming. The current water temperature along Chicago beaches is about 55 degrees.

One still missing, three rescued after boat capsizes on Lake Michigan

A witness at the harbor in East Chicago told Fox 32 News that they warned the boaters not to go out on the lake, because it was too rough. The water temperature is about 50 degrees right now. Nate Rodgers reports.
