CPD hosts 5 gun turn-in events across Chicago Saturday
Chicago police will buy your unwanted or unused guns. There will be five turn-in events across Chicago tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each gun turned in will get a $100 gift certificate in return. Replica guns and BB guns can be turned in for $10 each.
Chicago - Chicago police said that 450 guns were turned in at events across the city on Saturday.
Police said that 135 replica weapons were also turned in.

People could exchange real firearms for $100 gift cards. Replica weapons and air guns were exchanged for $10 gift cards.
The gun exchange was "no questions asked."
The guns will not be sold; they will be destroyed.
