Teen, 16, charged in 3 West Side robberies
CHICAGO - A teenage boy was charged in connection to three robberies on the West Side over the past two weeks.
Police arrested a 16-year-old boy in the 4000 block of West Lake Street Thursday just before 1:40 p.m.
He was accused of robbing a woman in the same black just minutes earlier.
The offender was also charged in connection to two more robberies in the Austin neighborhood last week.

Police say on May 29 he robbed a 16-year-old girl in the 5100 block of West Lake Street and on May 30 he robbed a 20-year-old woman just one block east.
The boy will face three felony counts of robbery. He was also charged with two misdemeanors for battery and resisting police.
