Chicago police identify parents of toddler found alone in Roseland

Nearly two weeks after a little boy was found wandering the streets of Chicago alone in the middle of the night with no shoes, police have identified his parents.

Chicago police have identified the parents of a toddler who was found wandering the streets of the Roseland neighborhood days before Christmas.

The boy, believed to be about 2 or 3 years old, was found walking alone near 105 West 107th Street at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21.

He was not wearing any shoes or pants. He is 3 feet tall and weighs roughly 31 pounds. Police say he only speaks Spanish.

The area where he was found was canvassed, but police were unsuccessful in finding his family in the days after he was found.
