CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - Chicagoans gathered at Trump Tower on Saturday night to draw attention to the violence at a white nationalist rally in Virginia, and the deaths of three people associated with that rally.

One person was killed at the rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, when someone deliberately drove a car into a crowd of counter-protesters. That person was identified as James Fields, 20, of Ohio.

Nearby, two Virginia State Police troopers were killed in when their helicopter crashed.  The pilot, Lieutenant H. Jay Cullen, 48, of Midlothian, Virginia, and Trooper-Pilot Berke M.M. Bates of Quinton, Virginia, died at the scene.

Those who gathered in Chicago said they felt the need to mourn together and bring attention to the violence and racial hatred being perpetuated by white nationalists.
