Blue Line service resumes between Forest Park, Harlem
The CTA Blue Line was out of commission between Forest Park and Harlem for nearly 7 hours Tuesday morning due to track conditions. The CTA says Blue Line service is back up and running as of 8:30 a.m., but there may be lingering delays.
CHICAGO - Blue Line trains are back up and running with delays after a partial closure on the Forest Park Branch early Tuesday morning.
The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) said Blue Line service resumed between Forest Park and Harlem around 8:30 a.m.
A disruption to service was reported at approximately 1:37 a.m. due to track conditions.
CTA said there was an issue with equipment near the Forest Park station.

CTA Blue Line service partially suspended due to track conditions
There may be some delays to your morning commute if you use the Forest Park Branch of the Blue Line. Trains are not running between Forest Park and Harlem. There are shuttle buses available to provide connecting service. Crews remains on scene repairing track conditions.
