Death investigation underway in River North after man found dead inside residence

CHICAGO - A death investigation is underway in River North after a man was found dead inside a residence Monday afternoon.

At about 1:20 p.m., a 58-year-old man was found unresponsive inside a residence in the 0-100 block of West Erie Street. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No offenders are in custody. Area detectives are investigating, pending autopsy results.
