Downers Grove man arrested for shooting at Darien Walmart

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A west suburban man accused of shooting someone inside a Walmart store Thursday night has been ordered held on a $3 million bond.
Bradley Morris, 19, of Downers Grove has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and unlawful use of a weapon, all felonies, according to a statement from the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office.
At 5:40 p.m. Thursday, Darien police responded to a call of shots fired in the Walmart store in the 2100 block of 75th Street, according to prosecutors.
Witnesses said a fight broke out in the store between Morris and another man, and Morris pulled out a gun and fired four times, striking the victim once in the back of his right shoulder, according to prosecutors.
The victim’s injury was not life-threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Moore was arrested Saturday at a bus station in Chicago as he tried to board a bus for Florida, according to prosecutors.
Judge Richard Russo set bond at $3 million Monday. Moore is next scheduled to appear in court Jan. 4.
