Dyer Fire Department raising money to repair antique firetruck
INDIANA (Fox 32 News) - A northwest Indiana fire department is trying to raise money to restore an antique fire truck.
The Dyer Fire Department's old truck was built in 1939 and was in active-service for more than 30 years. Once it was retired, it was still used in parades and funerals. But now it needs major repairs.
The Dyer Fire Department has started a GoFundMe to raise $30,000 to fix it.
