CHICAGO - A man was critically wounded in a shooting Monday night on Chicago's West Side.
Around 6:41 p.m., police say the male victim was on the street in the 600 block of S. Francisco Avenue when he was shot in the lower back by an unknown offender.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
