East Garfield Park shooting: Man struck in face on Chicago's West Side
CHICAGO - A 54-year-old man was shot in the face Friday night on Chicago's West Side.
Around 6:40 p.m., police say the male victim was on the sidewalk in the 3000 block of W. Walnut St. when he was shot in the face by an unknown offender.
The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, police said.
Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
