A grocery store in Edgewater was broken into Thursday morning. Chicago police say the door was found open and several items appeared to be stolen.
CHICAGO - A grocery store in Edgewater was broken into early Thursday morning.
Police responded to a burglary in the 5700 block of North Sheridan Road at 3:03 a.m. and found the front door of a grocery store was damaged and open.
Responding officers searched the property, but didn't find anyone. Police say some items appeared to have been taken.
Area Three Detectives are investigating the break-in.
