Officers deployed spike strips on Lake Street, disabling the BMW. Both vehicles continued east before the occupants of the BMW abandoned the car and everyone fled in the Durango, according to Addison police.
Villa Park police located the Durango near North Avenue and Route 83 and tried to stop it, according to the department. The SUV continued, and another tire deflation device was successfully deployed.
