Englewood Nature Trail receiving millions in federal funding

CHICAGO - The Englewood Nature Trail on Chicago's South Side is getting $20 million in federal funding.

The goal is to make neighbors feel safe and at-home in their community.

The 1.75-mile trail runs between 58th and 59th streets in between Wallace and Hoyne avenues.

The trail could open as soon as 2027.
