Englewood shooting leaves 16-year-old boy wounded

A 16-year-old boy was shot and wounded Saturday morning in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago's South Side.

The teen was outside around 4 a.m. when gunfire broke out in the first block of West 71st Street, according to police.

The teen was shot once and self-transported to St. Bernard's Hospital where he was listed in good condition.

No arrests have been made. Area detectives are investigating.
