SPRING, Texas (FOX 26) - When authorities arrived at the residence, they viewed video surveillance and observed a female arrive at the residence in a white passenger car. The suspect then runs toward the front door of the residence while lifting the child in the air by one arm.
The woman rings the door bell, knocks on the door and then runs back to the car, leaving behind the toddler and two bags she was carrying.
The suspect appears to be in her mid-20’s to early 30’s with long hair reaching below her waist. Suspect also has multiple tattoos on her right arm that can be seen in the video.
Thankfully, the child is uninjured and appears to be in good health.
After locating the boy's father Thursday morning, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office discovered that the two-year-old boy's mother had asked a friend to drop off the child with the boy's father in Spring because the mother was in the hospital.
But the friend left the boy on the front step of a random home without waiting for anyone to open the door.
That friend now faces possible charges of felony child endangerment.
The boy is now in foster care, while they investigate the incident.
