Grand Boulevard shooting: Teen boy struck by gunfire

CHICAGO - A 13-year-old boy was shot Friday night on Chicago's South Side.

Around 8:21 p.m., police say the teenage victim was near the street in the 400 block of E. 50th Pl. when he was struck in the leg by gunfire.

The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in fair condition, police said.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
